Property Summary

Every house in The Crescent is different and No. 6 is no exception, being the middle one, it is the biggest and has a lovely aspect. The crescent was built in the 1850’s and is an iconic terrace of houses that are renowned for their architecture and beauty. Set over 3 floors with a private terrace and communal garden, overlooking the town, Cathedral and Harbour and literally minutes from the town Centre, they offer city living in a town oozing with history. A lot of people say they are quite similar to house in Bath and Dalkey – I tend to agree, they really are beautiful.

No. 6 The Crescent was renovated back in 2005 and has been maintained over the years and yes there is updating to be done but you could absolutely live there in morning and just switch on the heating.

The kitchen is set on the ground floor/ basement with access to the patio area. Some people use the basement area as an apartment or living space and put the kitchen on the middle floor – I think it is nice where it is and offers plenty of space.

Accommodation – Entrance porch with original stain glass window internally. Spacious hallway with access to 3 reception room all with fireplaces, laundry room and storage space under the stairs. Upstairs there are 3 double bedrooms, main bathroom, spacious landing and dressing room. Basement consists of open plan kitchen/ living space with an open fireplace. Bedroom 4 and a separate bathroom and toilet area and to top it off a storage room.

The outside area to front which is the road side – basement level has storage rooms under the room, ideal for a wine cellar, storage room and indeed a utility room. To the back facing the view, is access to a private patio leading to the beautifully landscaped communal gardens and the icing on the cake is that you and all the residents of The Crescent have private access to the town via steps at the end of the garden ( all residents have a key and the gate is locked).

All in all, The Crescent is a special place and one you will love for a very long time once you move in.
