Superb location, excellent views, tranquil surroundings and a great family home are just some of the thoughts that came to me when I visited The Dell for the first time. When I was sitting in the sunroom, I felt I was on the water, although it isn’t a waterfront property, it feels like it. Ashgrove is a special place in Cobh, waterviews, countryside and near all amenities, it really has it all. Houses very rarely come up for sale in the area as once there you are very slow to leave.

On approach you have a generous driveway, a half acre of land, views – the house itself is a 5 bedroom/ 4 bathroom detached dormer bungalow with a  garage and carport enough for 2 cars. Although the house is a bit dated, it is in excellent condition and one you could put your own stamp on.

Accommodation consists of – generous entrance hall with plenty of storage units, off the hall you enter into the solid wood fitted kitchen which in turn leads to the open plan sitting room complete with stove and the sunroom which was added on in 2006 and has access to the garden. From the hall you can enter the utility room which in turn has a back door to the rear of the property. What do I think – it’s a great house and an opportunity for one to leave in the country and enjoy the water views.
